"An absolute gem. Came for a quiet getaway and the perfect storm of calmness. Will is a wonderful host, making sure I was welll taken care of and focusing on every detail. He made sure I was able to check in and reach him during a winter storm and was readily available. The place is wonderful and filled with lots of fireplaces and room amenities that feel spa like and warm. Best night sleep I’ve had in a cloud of pillows and bed, in such a long time. Thank you so much for a wonderful time. "

"This house was a nightmare. It sits right on the main highway, so forget peace and quiet. Inside, the place reeked of must and had stains on the walls, furniture, and even the outdoor seating. The bathtub was covered in black dust, the barbecue hadn’t been cleaned, trash was left out, and the pool and jacuzzi were full of bugs.We told the owner we planned to leave early—he ignored us until after checkout and has dodged every attempt to get a refund. The photos may look nice, but the reality is grime, noise, and neglect. Save yourself the hassle and stay anywhere else."

"The property's online description was accurate. The property was clean, and the kitchen was well-stocked. It's located a bit off the beaten path, however, private and wooded. We suggest they freshen up the property with new, fresh towels/linens. The towels were old and sparse. Some bathrooms were missing bars of soap and shampoo. We wish we had known before arrival that there would have been coffee for the coffee maker. A nice welcome basket with goodies (coffee, water bottles, etc.) would have been appreciated. Our other note is that we thought the smell of dog urine was on the rug in the Master Bedroom. "
