Our 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom condo is clean, tasteful modern updates and just minutes to downtown Durango. Making this condo unique in the Ferringway complex is the minimal number of stairs leading up to the front door (only 9), the condo is all on one level, and it has a second private deck. Complex has pool and hot tub and it is close to hiking, golf, restaurants, the train, and the college. Enjoy the fireplace, large functional kitchen, and comfortable bedrooms. WHERE YOU'LL SLEEP: \* Bedroom #1 - King bed with full bath and TV \* Bedroom #2 - Queen \* Living Room - Sleeper Sofa GOOD TO KNOW: This property has Air Conditioning - window units. Washer/Dryer inside your condo. Please note, due to HOA regulations, this unit, and all of the units at Ferringway DO NOT allow pets. AMENITIES: The Ferringway Townhomes offers a shared hot tub and heated swimming pool for guest use. The pool deck has plenty of room for lounging, as well as multiple gas grills and outdoor dining space without having to leave the grounds. There is easy access to City Open Space hiking and mountain biking trails behind this property. THE POOL IS OPEN APPX MEMORIAL WEEKEND TO END OF SEPTEMBER; HOT TUB IS OPEN YEAR-ROUND. LOCATION: Ferringway is just a 5-minuts drive to historic downtown Durango and the Durango Train, plus restaurants, shops and entertainment. Driving about 30 minutes to the north takes you to Purgatory Ski Resort and the high San Juan Mountains. Mesa Verde National Park, a noted World Heritage Site, is about a 40-minute drive to the West. Hillcrest Golf Club is a five-minute drive from this condo, as is the main campus of Fort Lewis College. There were times when we came back from an activity after dark and the lighting in the parking lot was off. It was dangerous walking up the stairs to the front door. Condo was clean, and everything we needed for the stay was supplied. Enjoyed the hot tub. Only complaint was the volume on the tv. We had to keep adjusting the volume to hear it.
