We were joined by friends later in the week, and the guys took part in the Iron Horse bike ride while the girls shopped and visited a coffee shop downtown. This is our 5th year to come to Durango for the bike ride, and this has been our favorite place to stay. It’s far enough out to feel private (we’ve stayed in a condo too), but easy to access. The house has enough space for two couples or two families to have their own areas, and also has a pleasant kitchen and living room for time together. Lauren was quick to answer questions as well. The interior is so cozy, happy and inviting💕 The decor is farmhouse (my favorite) and I loved all the happy animal paintings throughout the home! The house was well stocked with everything you may need! And the back yard was a great place to kick back and enjoy a glass of wine while you greet the turkeys during their evening stroll. The location is great- close to all, but far enough to feel secluded and peaceful. Durango is an amazing town with so much to do! We spent a week and it still was nowhere near enough time! We spent several days at the Red House in Durango and it was a hit with everyone! The house is clean and charming. The kitchen is well stocks and the beds are comfortable. I can’t express enough how cute this house is! The inside is very spacious and SO cute! The outdoor space is so pretty and inviting with an amazing view and stream. The house has everything you need and the owner touched base to make sure we had all we needed. Such a great place. Quiet and a quick drive to get to downtown Durango. We will be back again!
