« The house is beautiful and even bigger than it seems in the pictures. The house was clean, well cared for, and absolutely perfect for a large group. It was comfortable with enough seating to have a few guests over for dinner. There isn't water access within walking distance (at least not that I found) and the neighbors were big on bonfires which made the house a bit smokey on some nights but overall highly recommend »

« This house was amazing and perfect for our 2 night stay with friends. Fully stocked. I wish we could’ve stayed longer to utilize everything. Hottub worked and was clean. Beds were comfy. Kitchen had all wares and utensils even spices and oils needed although we didn’t have time to need them. Big tv, comfy couch, big windows with awesome lakeview. The porch and dock made for some fantastic photos. We will absolutely stay again someday! :) »

« Overall, my 4 friends and I had a wonderful, relaxing stay at Grandpa's Lake House. The house was as described; it was spacious, clean and well stocked. There were memory foam mattresses on all of the beds, which was a welcome change from previous stays elsewhere. The hot tub was clean and well maintained and it was great siting out and watching the ducks on the lake. One important thing to note, in the entryway to the left there is a step down (maybe 3 inches deep) leading to the garage and...

« Such a beautiful, uniquely designed home! Perfect for our little birthday getaway with friends. Nestled in the trees you really felt like you were in your own little world by the lake. We had issues with a couple appliances, but the property manager was easy to get ahold of and handled the issues. Would absolutely stay here again. »

« This is the perfect place for a quiet romantic getaway. The cabin is cozy, clean, inviting, comfortable, and the twinkle lights and wine were lovely. We hiked, beach combed, read, wrote, napped, had some delicious seafood, and met some seriously cool people. We could hear the creek behind the cabin all night and it was so dark we could see tons of stars. Thank you for sharing your beautiful place with us. We hope to stay with you again. »

« We enjoyed our stay immensely. The property decor was lovely and the proximity to the beach was fantastic. We enjoyed walking on the beach after dinner each night. It’s close to town, but also feels remote. The view from the dining table is fantastic. We enjoyed getting coffee and sandwiches at Driftwood Shores, so close by. Very clean and comfortable rooms. « As you can see from the pictures, it's a compact cabin. But I feel like the layout of the place makes it very comfortable. I appreciate that the bedding was not washed with heavily scented detergent. Also the greenroom in the back was a nice place to have breakfast in a sunny place without it being too cold in the morning. The only thing I would let people know is that the bed is pretty hard and there is no foam padding in the unit. I didn't ask the owners about it though so they might be able...

The cabin is off a main road and there is a neighboring property, however, road noise is faint and the cabin is set lower so the majority of views are only of trees and ocean. There is a path down to the beach. Second time we’ve stayed here and once again enjoyed it very much. »

"Très bon accueil, grande chambre avec une vue superbe sur la rivière. Nous avons apprécié le petit espace lavabo en plus de celui la salle de bain. Lit très confortable. Le petit-déjeuner est bon, mais il pourrait y avoir plus de fruits et de produits laitiers. La localisation est parfaite : à 15mn à pied de la vieille ville, de ses restaurants."
