« This was my favorite leg of my first trip to Ireland with my mother. The house is magnificent, cozy, and beautiful. Our hosts were so welcoming and friendly. We were told about the best restaurants in the neighborhood and some very fun outing during our stay. I will remember this stay fondly for the rest of my life. »

« Ghan House was certainly a highlight of our trip, what a delightful house and accommodation. Staff were very welcoming, breakfast was impeccable and the room itself was spacious with a lovely view of the garden and mountain, and with a very comfortable bed. We’d certainly recommend staying at Ghan House. »

« Thoroighly enjoyed our stay! Located in the centre of Carlingford its a great central spot. Spotlessly clean modern rooms and a well decorated bar and restaurant area. The staff are super friendly and the establishment has a real friendly vibe. The food is excellent too!! All in all, a wonderful wee gem that we shall definitely be returning to. "Hotel situated right in the centre of town. We really liked the firm beds and great pillows. Room deco was nice though the cupboards were 'old'. Only real gap was TV where there were only 4-5 Irish channels and not Freesat/Sky for UK channels which was a pity. The water cooler was not working. The hotel is a well known wedding venue so can be noisy at weekends"

"Hotel specialised in weddings - so big noisy crowds. I selected because Hotels.com listing says they have a gym but this is incorrect. There is a gym nearby and you pay 8 euros per visit. The gym is huge and well equipped but it's not on site and you have to fill in 2 forms each time you visit. They should change their listing"
