Check in was a breeze. The room had a slight stale odor, I figure it was from being closed up in the winter. I was able to freshen it up by using the AC fan when I was gone during the day. It was nice that they allowed dogs. My interaction with staff was limited because I had no problems.

Nice old style motel with everything you need for a couple nights sleep and nothing more. Pleasant staff and a nice place to stay. Only wish that the bed was a queen size and not just a full size.

It was a perfect spot for my weekend getaway with my dog. Its a small motel and fairly quiet. There were plenty of places to walk the dog within a short distance. It was cozy, clean and comfortable. We will be back!

Voyageur Motel is a gem in Two Harbors—clean, comfortable, and perfectly located. It's an ideal entry point for exploring the North Shore, with quick access to state parks, scenic hikes, and the lakefront. The staff was helpful, and the retro charm adds to the experience. The after-hours check-in process was simple and stress-free, which made my late arrival smooth. A great stay for anyone heading up the North Shore!

Family Reunion

We were in town for a family reunion and stayed here. Other than being a little small and a little pricey it was great. Its a quaint little motel. Nice and clean and up to date. We really enjoyed our stay here.

For a no-frills motel - it was a great stay! Pros: PRICE!, the room and bathroom/shower was very clean! The bed was very comfortable! Great lighting and plenty of outlets, including USB ports! Cons (very minor and petty): water pressure could have a tinge better, bathroom is small but funtional, and parking in the winter isnt as convenient when sharing with big trucks and snowmobile trailers - but it worked! Also, either everyone was super quiet, or its just pretty sound proof! We could hear the gentleman using the stairs to his upper unit - but it wasnt bad at all. We will definitely be staying here again when staying in Two Harbors!

Great motel

One of the cleanest places I have ever stayed. Nice size room, comfy bed, good location. Only concern was that there is a unit above the rear motel rooms and due to it being an older building it is easy to hear movement upstairs. Otherwise wonderful motel, good and responsive management.
