« What a great place to relax, visit and take quiet walks. The beds were comfortable, and we slept well. We used the kitchen to cook and used the barbeque. The surroundings are breathtaking. The lake at Snowshoe Springs is a real treat. It was a little chilly for swimming when we were there but would be so much fun in the summer. Just a real wonderful long weekend. The only reason I am not giving five stars is because the lack of curtains on three of the windows, and there was at least one(possibly more we couldn’t see) camera on the deck pointed inside the cabin that had view of the bathroom and kitchen area. The game room (e.g., pool table felt had a couple holes, dart board missing a number, no chalk for dart board scoreboard, etc) and other aspects could use some refreshing/updating, but the house overall worked out great for my family. Would definitely recommend staying here if you're going to be in the area. »
