Rustic Oceanfront Cabin

  • Get the feel of a rustic cabin without having to drive up a mountain or into the woods. This charming home on the ocean features four bedrooms with queen beds and three full bathrooms with open living space with vaulted ceilings. Snuggle up in front of the fireplace and watch the waves roll in. There is a secluded beach below and it is less than 5 minutes to walk to Dillon Beach.

    This location offers some of the best views you will find anywhere on the west cost looking over all of Bodega Bay with waves crashing on the rocks and incredible sunsets. It's a quick hike to the secluded beach below and a short walk down the street to the path to Dillon Beach. Dogs only are considered for this property.

    ​​​​​​​While this property is an amazing property for family and friends to gather, it is NOT a party house. Please note that outdoor amplified music is prohibited at vacation rentals in the County and campers are not allowed in the driveway. Surveillance cameras and decibel meters monitor parking areas and noise levels. County quiet hours are observed between 10:00 PM and 8:00 AM.

All about the views! The property is "rustic" as described. There is plenty of room to be outside (or inside) to enjoy the waves. Randy is super responsive.

An incredibly beautiful home with an even better view. I couldn’t asked for anything more. I’m so glad that I was able to book this home for such an important trip for me and my family. If I’m ever in the area again, I definitely will be looking to get this house again.

The house is dated, but that is not what we were looking for. We wanted the million dollar view and we got it ten times over. We had one small issue, and the host remedied it immediately. We would definitely stay here again. We were able to walk down the somewhat rugged path to the beach daily. We were blessed with a minus tide one day the tide-pooling was magnificent. Dillon Beach is wonderful.

Location amazing

Loved our visit to Dillon Beach. This is definitely a rustic cabin but amazing location above the coast and great neighborhood. We will be back.

We loved our stay as a family! It was very clean. Beds were cozy, but the views!!! The views everywhere were stunning and hard to beat!! Loved our walks down to the beach on our own path. Property manager Randy was so prompt, available and accommodating. Hope to be back one day!

MLK weekend at Pelicans Nest

Our family had a wonderful experience over the recent holiday. Well appointed, very clean, well located ( Petaluma was close for supplies and activities. The house was beautifully situated. We would highly recommend the Pelicans Nest.

Great family getaway with amazing views

Our family of 8 adults and 2 infants enjoyed our 3 night stay. The view from the house has to be seen to be believed. Beds and linens were very comfortable. The living room and dining area were big enough for us to spread out in. The kitchen was well supplied. We would definitely visit again.

Amazing views!!!

Awesome ocean views! Really amazing views, house was clean and well equipped and comfortable beds. 3 of the 4 bedrooms have ocean views nice to wake up to in the morning. Boat launch is 15min drive from house. Overall awesome time and already thinking of another trip back!

Amazing views for a relaxing get-away

Going to bed with the sounds of waves crashing, waking up to that beautiful ocean was just what we needed. Just two of us staying as a home base for beach time and exploring. The house was well stocked for our needs, the beds were super comfy and very clean. Thank you!

This house is beautiful and rustic. The views are breathtaking!! Every age of the family enjoyed our stay! Thank you for have our family and our furry baby’s! The walk down to your private beach is not easy but if you take the walk the beach is beautiful!

Very comfortable beds, well stocked kitchen and clean interior. Beautiful view but hazy window panes. We liked the fact there were 2 downstairs bedrooms and minimal stairs for our elderly parents. Randy responded quickly to questions. I’m unsure the beach access next to the house is actually accessible. It’s very steep. We tried but didn’t succeed. Overall, very leading and comfortable place.
