I had a great stay for 2 nights at Hotel des Ducs. It was everything I wanted in a hotel, and had a wonderful breakfast buffet. My room on the top floor was quiet and safe and had a nice view over the roofs of the old city. The staff were great and answered all my questions. Thank you!

We stayed in the off site property but once we got in the room was great. Tons of space, nice coffee and tea setup. Great shower with bathrobes. Bed was great too. It’s a short walk to the main hotel for breakfast which was nice as well.

In the heart of historic Dijon this hotel has everything I want. I walked to dinner in a glorious old French neighborhood. My hotel window looks out on a classic French topiary garden. Heaven!

Awesome experience

First the negatives. For us folks from the US, when you get here, you are no longer in Kansas, folks. The roads are tight and the parking places are tiny. So, unless you have a tiny car, you will be sweating bullets trying to find the hotel and to park your car. We stayed at the Residences du Duc, which is about 1000 feet from the main hotel and it is in a pedestrian area - so no cars, which means you'l have to drag your luggage from the main hotel to the Residence. We stayed in the Loft room - at least their is an elevator to this third floor room. Second main negative is the internet. It is pretty bad in the Residence - it barely worked on our phones, but you have to keep logging back in. Now the good stuff. The staff are extremely pleasant and helpful. The room is very clean and comfortable. And you will be absolutely centrally located in the old part of town. To visit everything Dijon has to offer, you can essentially forget your car (thank goodness - it is squeezed into some parking lot three stories below ground), while you stay here. And Dijon has a lot to offer. I would definitely recommend this hotel, just be prepared to struggle to get here. By the way, don't use Google Maps to try and find the place - use Waze; the former kept on trying to force us to use one-way streets going the wrong way.

For the reader, you can choose between the 35 rooms of the "hôtel des ducs" (5 rue Lamonnoye), the 8 "appartements des ducs" (5 bis rue Lamonnoye - equipped with a kitchen), the 3 studios of the "maison des ducs" (7 rue verrerie - 2 are equipped with a kitchen) and the 5 rooms of the "résidence des ducs" (3 rue du Palais). All of this is 100 metres from the Place de la Libération, the Palais des Ducs and the Musée des Beaux-Arts. We try to be as clear as possible on the internet but sometimes there can be confusion.

Awesome hotel with suites in centre of Dijon
Extremely comfortable hotel in centre of Dijon. Great spacious rooms and very nice amenities. You cannot be more central to all that the old city offers in museums and churches. We would happily stay here again

The rue verrerie, pedestrian and largely occupied by antique dealers, is one of the most picturesque streets in the historic centre of Dijon. Finally, we offer 4 large rooms and 1 suite at 3 rue du palais, next to the Place de la Libération (the "Dukes' residence")

Clean and comfortable.
Convenient location. Clean and comfortable. Good value. Pleasant helpful staff. Room very small. Parking 10 minute walk away so take everything you need with you and try to enjoy the stroll. You can easily load and unload outside hotel though. Lovely!

We had a great one night stay in Hotel des Ducs. The room and bathroom were both clean; the bed was extremely comfortable and the shower was powerful. Breakfast in the morning was nice too. Would definitely return.

Lovey hotel with friendly and welcoming staff. Rooms very good indeed The location is superb also - except that there is an independent fast-good restaurant just next door and it attracts vagrants and such people.
