"I have traveled to Bhutan many times and have a tradition about staying in Paro my first night to hike to the Tigers Nest next day and then on to Thimphu. But, I booked an outdoor cabin and received a dark room in the main hotel. I have stayed at this hotel before booked through a local guide group and my room was fine - but this time I was most disappointed. "We only stayed for one night, the lodge was newly renovated, very beautiful, but the facilities were incomplete. The room was cold and no hairdryer, but the manager told me that they were working on it. The manager from India was excellent, so was the staff. She woke up early to bid farewell and helped me with luggage, which I appreciated. "

"Lovely small hotel. The staff are so so attentive and really made sure every comfort was met. I enjoyed learning about Bhutan (culture, history, current affairs) just from long chats with them while waiting for dinner. The food was also really good."

"We booked this hotel for one night, from april 10th to april 11th 2025, which happened to be the last day of our bhutan trip. The online pics looks great and we thought we would treat ourselves. We made the reservation using hotels.com and pre-paid online.When we showed up to check in around 4:30pm, the front desk person said that he did not have our names on the check in list. The room was cold and no hairdryer, but the manager told me that they were working on it. The manager from India was excellent, so was the staff.
