« Place was clean and nice. We just wanted a quiet weekend in a cabin and it was perfect. Close enough to hit Cooperstown as well. There were several beds so enough room for se eral people. Only precaution i would note is the wood stove is nice but also hot so i would not recommend the stay for families with toddlers »

« Beautiful and peaceful getaway - the property is very true to the description and the hosts were extremely helpful with everything that we needed. It was very kid and pet friendly. The kitchen was fully equipped and there was an awesome grill with a whole set of utensils. We really loved the outdoor spaces and had a great time around the fire pit in the evenings. « The host was welcoming and, most importantly for us, very responsive. We needed help with a couple of things and she immediately texted back with the solution.The setting for this property is beautiful - open fields with a view to the mountains - which was all the more spectacular with the fall foliage.The house itself was very clean and orderly, and worked well for six adults. There were numerous entertainment options, TV, hot tub and games, and several beautiful hiking options nearby. »

« The house was very clean with an open concept. Kitchen and living room. The beds were very comfortable as well. the bathrooms were spacious with waterfall showers and enough room for a larger person. The outside porch overlooked a small brook that had tranquil water sounds. All appliances worked how they should with no trouble. The only negative thing i spotted was the tall grass and leaves in the yard made it harder for my small dog to roam around. The couch didn't match the one in the pictures...

« My friends and I pick a new place to hike every year and along with that a different rental. This home was by far our favorite of all the places we've stayed. It was clean, set up well, plenty of great spaces inside and out! Areas to gather as a group, play games, watch tv, talk and laugh, and plenty of areas if you wanted some quiet time alone to read or nap. Simply great! »

« Many problems with this listing, first the fire alarm was low on battery, I had to physically climb to reach the smoke detector to detach and remove the battery, a sharp beeping noise went off every 90 seconds and we wouldn’t have been able to sleep without stopping it. There were no spare batteries to change. There were spiders everywhere. My friend used the shower and saw 11 of them moving around the ceiling. They were in the main bed and on the counter and sink as well. The tenant was nice...

« Extremely clean, host was very quick to reply to my questions and even started a campfire for us. My husband fished while I enjoyed the wine we were left by the host. The “outdoor shower was amazing and the restroom was very clean. They thought of so many little things to help make our overnight comfortable …and the Golf course restaurant was outstanding- laid back atmosphere and you can wear shirts and t shirt. On our list of favorites now. »
