« Enjoying stay in this house thanks to many positive points : a lot of space in the house and also outside, very nice garden with a large variety of trees, peaceful place, no neighbour (or just cows), well located in the middle of Ireland which is usefull for people who want to visit Ireland from North to South, from East to West. « I have to preface this with an *. I had booked the gardener's cottage but there was some sort of booking mishap and the cottage was double booked. To their credit they gave me a room in the main house which was very nice. It was technically an up-grade and there was no charge. La chambre est grande et très belle mais difficile à chauffer donc les couvertures fournies sont indispensables pour les frileux ! La mezzanine est plus petite que la chambre mais magnifique. La température y est plus douce que dans la chambre mais l’accès n’est pas très aisé car le plafond d’entrée est très bas : attention aux têtes (et au dos) ! « We really enjoyed this cottage. It was exactly as listed. So cozy and felt like home. Our host was lively and we loved the town. We enjoyed several meals at Giltrap Pub. Mattresses are still the kind with springs which was not a great fit for our backs but the rooms and duvet covers were just great!! Nice shower and bathroom. Overall, I’d recommend this cottage to all. We were able to make several day trips East and South. Great location if your renting a car. Thanks a million. »

« Our Coolderry Lodge stay was wonderful. Wonderful. Centrally located, it's an easy jump to any number of places of interest in the country. Colette, our terrific host, provided warm hospitality, ideas of places to visit and excellent homemade sugar cookies. The farm dogs made sure we were extra welcome. It's hard to overstate the charm and the beauty and quiet of the location. »
