« We celebrated my parents 50th wedding anniversary at this property. It was ideal for a large group. Plenty of room for multiple families to have privacy and extra room for the teens to hang out! Picturesque location. It’s close to town but you feel like you are in the country. We didn’t leave the property. Between the waterfront, ATV, fire pit, covered porch, lush green yard and game room, everyone found something they enjoyed! We can’t wait to book again. »

« Check-in instructions were emailed a few days in advance. The cabin is so cute and cozy. Having 6 of us, it was a little cramped inside, BUT, we spent 90% of our time outdoors anyway. The beds are super comfortable! They had all the basics we needed, like toiletries, a coffe/keurig combo machine with pods readily available. There are a few basic seasonings and such in the kitchen. « Our experience at this cottage was extremely disappointing. After driving for 4 hours, we had to clean for two hours before unpacking to make it a bit more acceptable. Where do I begin, the cottage was very dirty and so are the pots and pans left there to be used by the guests. The kettle on the stove was filled with dirty rusty water, the cast iron pans were greasy and dirty, the table, chairs and wall behind the stove were very sticky. We rented a cottage with a dishwasher thinking we did...

« Communication for check in was great. Home was very well equipped. Plenty of dishes and cookware. Our sleeping space was roomy and comfortable. We enjoyed the large and open living area. We also were able to spend time on the spacious deck and use the firepit! We would definitely stay here again and recommend this home to others. »

« Our stay at Sunset Cabin was an escape to paradise! The cabin provided everything we needed for our stay. The cabin was very clean and perfect for a romantic getaway. From the gorgeous views of the lake, night time fire pits, and many things to do in Rangeley we did not want to leave! Would definitely recommend and stay again. »

« On a eu la malchance de trouver une toile manquante (obscurité) pour la mezzanine, une laveuse en panne, puis détecter la sécheuse en panne, puis un rond de poêle défectueux. Le service d'assistance a été rapide : trois réparateurs, séchage des deux brassées au bureau. On a été étonné de l'absence de recyclage (papier-carton et verre-aluminium) »

« Although the weather was not optimal, it was better than the forecast offered. We spent more time at the property than we had intended, but that didn't dampen the visit to Rangeley. The accomodations were fabulous. The children had plenty of room to play on their own without being annoyed by adults! The evenings were peaceful when we turned in. We enjoyed the town and Quill Hill is a must see. Also the ride around the lake on Monday when we left for home was beautiful ending to a lovely weekend! »

« My husband and I got married at height of land and needed a place to stay near by. This was perfect. Very cozy with amazing views. Enough room for us and some family to stay together. Owners were very communicative and prompt with responses. Could not recommend more. Thank you so much for allowing us to stay! »

« This was our home base for adventures in and around Rangeley. It was convenient to hiking and golf with plenty of room for the family. Even on the rainy day, we enjoyed family games and shopping in downtown. Only downside was no air conditioning (or not that we could figure out).We have more hikes in the area so we expect to be back! »

10/10 Excellent

"Nous étions à cet hôtel pour faire le marathon de Sugarloaf. C’était la basse saison. Tout était parfait. "

"Séjour d'une nuit, étape sur un parcours plus long. Emplacement très beau mais déçu par l'accueil pas super sympa. Le petit déjeuner se limite à boissons chaudes (café ou thé), appareil à gaufres uniquement le samedi et dimanche. Équipement chambre limité également : pas de chaise, pas de sèche cheveux (ennuyeux quand vous y êtes mi octobre et qu'il fait humide et 6⁰C le matin. Lit confort moyen avec coussins durs. Bref, hormis l'emplacement près du lac qui est très beau même sous la pluie en automne je choisirai un autre hébergement si une prochaine fois se présente "
