« I wish I could rave about the pool but it was down for maintenance during a stay. So I requested a refund to stay somewhere else and all the responded with was yea, it isn't working!! They didn't respond to Expedia either! Don't stay here! Friends had Taco Bell wrappers and coke cans in their "clean" room when they checked in! »

« We had a great time and loved the style of the the place.The quiet neighborhood was a plus also.The kayaks got a lot of use around Lucy's Pond! We would highly recommend and wouldn't hesitate to stay again.Thanks Jenny! »

« This was our second stay at Home of the Brave. This house is nicely laid out, comfortable and so clean. It has everything you need to enjoy a short stay on Indian Lake. The hosts were great with timely communications. Should we have need to stay in the area again, we would definitely hope this rental was available. »

« Check in was easy. Person running the VRBO very kind and responsive. There was a year round camper at the pool that screamed and cursed at our 10 year old for being on the rope. It was a huge overreaction and surely didn’t match the offense. Another lady tried to smooth it over but it was too late. It ruined the entire families night. The rule board says nothing about the rope. He was nasty and loud. Also tried to call out another family member and cause a fight to which we...

« The stay at lakeview was great. Any questions we had the host responded in a very timely manner. Great location by the water. There is a fantastic donut shop in town that we would recommend for sure. We enjoyed the 4 seasons room as well as the fireplace. A good stay for sure. »

« House is in a wonderful location, quiet and sits on a beautiful lot. Bedrooms were spacious and lots of living space and dinning areas. Loved being on the inlet to drop a fishing line. Only 1 shower in the house, the other bathroom has a tub and connecting shower line. Would be great for kids but for adults a little hard to manage, however not a deal breaker and would rent the house again! « The cottage is very cozy! We spent a day at Mad River Mountain and the rest of our time here. We brought a lot of games along, but Cyndi had chess and a few others there too. She decorated for Valentine's Day for us, left amazingly tasteful cupcakes, and even special stuff for our pet that came along! The kids loved the loft! The mattress up there is especially nice too! She left us some firewood for the fireplace, which was so nice, but I wish we had thought to bring some extra from home too....

« Perfect little spot for a lake stay. Store was so close in case you forgot anything but the house came stocked with all the essentials which we really appreciated! Boat ramp was also close which we really appreciated and there was enough parking for the family! »

« This was a boys trip for Dad and kiddo plus our dog to get some fishing in during spring break. Everything was wonderful with the house and the overall property. We really made use of the dock to fish and even made some catches. Great, quiet area for walking the dog around. We would definitely stay again. »
