« The air barely cooled the room, the bathtub was dirty, the phone or clock didn’t work. I finally got the television to come on but took some effort. The main thing dissatisfying was upon checking in, my booking was already paid for but the owner tried to charge me $75.00 more. She said Expedia didn’t charge the whole cost of the room. « The breakfast was really good!! And the cookies in the evening were a nice touch as well. The staff were very friendly and the rooms were spacious, clean, and comfortable. The snacks my the front desk were a little pricey but I guess that's to be expected. It was convenient though. I would definitely stay here again. »

« We always love staying here, easy access with the boats being parked just down the hill. You have a big sand point just outside the cove for the kids to swim and play. The cabins are always clean and have plenty of towels for lake days. What is a big plus they always have ice for purchase so you don’t have to run to town to grab any. »

The hosts are welcoming and had a little basket of snacks, which we enjoyed.We were a party of 4 adults and 3 medium dogs with plenty of space!The pond and gazebo area is fantastic. The ducks come right up to you! There are so many turtles and fish and you can feed them!Plenty of towels, hand soap, and blankets as well. The beds are comfortable and have lots of pillows. Lufkin is a cute small town with plenty to do and this is a good location! »
