"We had a wonderful stay at The Houses of History. It was a unique experience, for our family as the property has a lot of character. The pool was perfect for cooling off during the hot weather and our kids really enjoyed it. Breakfast was delicious with a great selection. The staff was exceptionally friendly, welcoming and ready to help. Overall, a memorable stay, and we would happily recommend it to anyone looking for something a little different."

"Do not have any high expectations- this hotel property is very basic. There has not been one single improvement, enhancement or update since the property was built to any of the common areas the Carpet is thread bare and stained. The balcony exterior is all in terrible condition and the entire hotel requires painting, New carpet & complete updating. "They were working on the plumbing, doing major maintenance all faucets so our room had a slight odor of sewage gas. Otherwise, the room was beautiful."

"Beautiful campsite and surroundings. The mobile home was quite old. The stove didn’t work properly, but we were given a replacement. Upon arrival, the accommodation felt very stuffy and dusty, which triggered an allergic reaction. The environment is lovely, but the mobile home needs better maintenance and cleaning."
