This four-bedroom two-bath single-family home is nestled in a classic neighborhood in the heart of Des Moines! \> 4 Bedrooms & 2 bathrooms \> Pool table in basement living area \> Located less than 10 minutes to downtown & fairgrounds \> 1gb internet \> Deck w/ BBQ grill \> Pets welcome (with fee) \> 3 queen and 2 full beds \> Large driveway & street parking \> Roku Smart TV\`s in ALL rooms \> Safe neighborhood \> Nice sized backyard (90% fenced) \> Close to grocery store and places to eat This 1,500 square-foot traditional-style home is well-appointed with modern furnishings, and includes all the amenities you’ll need for a comfortable stay. Close to Downtown, Iowa State Fair Grounds, Restaurants and more! The home is a split foyer with two small staircases at the front entrance that lead you upstairs or downstairs. Both levels are fully finished. The upstairs: Living room with sectional sofa, 55 inch smart TV, dining table and kitchen which is fully stocked with appliances, utensils, pots, pans etc. Everything needed for a feast! The kitchen also has direct access to a beautiful deck with patio furniture & propane BBQ Grill. The master bathroom is located by the master bedroom and has a single vanity with a full shower and tub. Bedroom 1: Queen bed w/ smart tv Bedroom 2: Full over Queen bunk bed with smart TV (280lb capacity on top bunk) Bedroom 3: Queen bed with smart TV The basement: To the right you have a second living area with another 55 inch smart TV, sectional couch and pool table. To the left is the laundry room, 2nd bath (3/4 bath) with a shower. There is a $1000 fine if discovered. 2\. Unruly Parties are not allowed in this property, including loud music. There is a fee of $1000 if more guests than stated are brought to the property or because of excessive noise after the first warning/ neighbor complaints. Quiet Hours: 10:00pm - 8am. 3\. There is a $50 fee per guest per night for undeclared guests. 4\. If an excessive mess is discovered after your stay, you will be charged accordingly on top of the standard cleaning fee. 5\. It was the perfect setup for our three adult children, their significant others and our grandchild. Kitchen table was large enough for all of us to sit and eat together. We used the grill, stove, oven, washer, dryer and all worked great. Ample parking for three cars in the driveway. Pool table was fun. Bathrooms were very clean and looked to have been recently remodeled. The beds were very comfortable. House was decorated very cute. What we first walked into though was…not good. The house was a complete mess with dirty laundry and wet towels laying around, plugged sink and dirty dishes. Reached out to owner who sent cleaner over but we had arrived and then had to leave for a couple hours for the cleaners to come and clean the whole house. Communicating was good and it was taken care of but a little frustrating to first walk into and then have to leave right away. Otherwise things were pretty good ##### Seth D. We even left a night early because it was so gross. The tile on the kitchen floor was permanently stained, smudges all over the appliances, oven was very dirty, torn paper liners in cabinets, one piece of food stuck in sink drain, old sponges in sink, etc. The upstairs bathroom was remodeled poorly with dirt and mold on the floor and floor trim. House vents were covered with dust. Lots of stains on carpeting. Poor interior paint job on walls and trim with lots of wear and tear. Exterior paint peeling on entire side of house. The place feels like one do it yourself, first time short-term rental with work done by owner or friends, but not professionals. On a positive note, communication with the property manager was good. Upon our arrival we found: air conditioning was turned on with 2 windows open, dirty towels in the laundry room, only one coffee pod left, dirty dishes in the dishwasher, supply closet door was open and unlocked, no kitchen towels. The entry code supplied did not work, but the property manager rectified that situation. It was nice for our family gathering, but the patio furniture was dirty and the yard was not optimal for kids to play in . ##### Judy F. This place was located close to all the things we needed for our trip. A couple of things were missing, but our host quickly supplied those things. There was trash in the backyard which was taken care of by the owner once he was made aware of it. Also I found a pile of dog droppings mixed in the cedar chips which is not inviting. But it did have a working washer and dry plus plenty of room for my family. Plus we found wonderful frozen custard near by. ##### Megan F.
