Entertain your guests with 3,600sf of open-concept mid-century living while enjoying all the amenities this house has to offer! Relish in billiards indoors or escape outdoors for yard games, grilling or an evening bonfire. This newly remodeled 4 bed, 2.5 bath property has everything you need on your next vacation. Great for entertaining and small groups both inside and out. Large windows and skylights let in plenty of natural light. Enjoy polished concrete and luxury tile floors throughout the main level and carpet upstairs and down. An updated, modern kitchen provides the perfect heart of this home complete with all the essentials you\`ll need. The Master Bedroom is complete with a large en-suite bath with glass walled shower and a double vanity as well as a spacious master closet. Other guest rooms are adjacent to an additional full bath with another double vanity - this are is able to be closed off for additional privacy if needed. Outdoors you\`ll enjoy a fully fenced backyard filled with an overhead shade structure, plenty of seating and a fire pit overlooking the lake for use when weather permits! This space also includes the modern amenities of wifi, Smart TV, a custom dog shower, and laundry appliances. Please note indoor fireplaces are not for guest use. Guests have access to the entire home. The home is located in the Lake Halice Neighborhood within the City of Urbandale. Urbandale is an immediate suburb of the City of Des Moines and boasts wonderful quality-of-life attractions, events, businesses, civic and cultural pride. With its proximity to Des Moines, it also boasts all of the benefits and uniqueness of the Capitol City. The Lake Halice Neighborhood is a lovely, established development located in Urbandale, Iowa. Well kept homes, stately trees and a leisurely lifestyle mark the area. The 15 acre Lake nestled within this community is the hallmark of the neighborhood, and backs immediately to the home. The surrounding neighborhood is very walkable. Additionally, it is located very near the Inner Urban Bike Trail and can connect easily to all of the several hundred miles of Central Iowa bike trails. One of Urbandale\`s finest city parks, Walker-Johnson Park is only a 5 minute walk away and includes activities such as tennis, pickleball, softball/baseball, a skatepark, playgrounds, a fishing pond, a community center, and access to walking and bike trails. PETS We allow up to 3 dogs of 50lb each, for $75 per pet per stay. We had just enough bedrooms for everyone to have their own and ample space to stretch out and make the house our home away from home for a weekend. We recently stayed at this property for our boys' basketball tournament. This house was central to several gym locations in the greater Des Moines area and worked great for three moms and three teenage sons. The boys enjoyed the pool table and even took the kayak for a spin on the little lake which is right in the backyard! Property manager was super quick to respond to any questions (which I didn't have many of, but they were quick on the one I did!) and we will definitely look to rent again when our teams are back in Des Moines. ##### Christy B.
