« I’m loathed to give a bad review, but we stayed during hot weather and the room was unbearable, at least 35C for the whole night. The top of the sash window was painted shut and the bottom only opened 2inches because of the safety latch. It’s a shame because the pub was nice, lovely old building, easy parking, the bar was good and the staff were great. « The breakfast was excellent the staff went out if their way to ensure I had everything I needed. The poached eggs were cooked to perfection and the staff even though were run off their feet found time to chat and engage with all customers at breakfast. »
