Baker Rim Community. This inviting retreat offers the perfect blend of comfort and adventure for families seeking a memorable getaway. Inside, you'll find: Open-concept living: Spacious living area with comfortable seating, a large smart TV, and an open kitchen ideal for family gatherings. Cozy bedrooms: Two bedrooms (one with twin beds; one with a queen bed) and a primary suite with a queen bed and en-suite bathroom. Modern amenities: Fully equipped kitchen, comfortable furnishings, and a relaxing ambiance. Outside, enjoy: Expansive yard: Perfect for children to play, outdoor games, or simply soaking up the sunshine. Front patio: Relax with a BBQ and enjoy the fresh mountain air. Prime location: Minutes from the Snoqualmie National Forest (home to Mt. Baker Ski Resort) and Nooksack River, offering endless opportunities for exploration. Book your stay at Woodland Bungalow and create lasting memories in this beautiful mountain setting. Important Notes: Nature: This home is located in a rainforest near the base of a mountain. We have critters both large and small that we share the land with. From Ants to bats, mice and raccoons to Bears and Bobcats, we do everything possible to keep them outside. Please do not leave food or garbage outside, as it looks like a free meal for the wildlife. Technology:WiFI and Cellular Service: Due to the remote location, cable TV and cellular service are not available. The home does however, have free, fast Fiber WIFI and a smart TV for streaming your favorite subscription channels. There's also cell phone service near Mt Baker ski area. Weather: The mountains provide us with so much to offer, but predictable weather is not one of them. Please be prepared for all types of severe weather from excess heat in the summer to heavy rains in the Spring & Fall and Snow and Ice in the winter. It is highly recommended that you bring a 4-wheel or All wheel drive vehicle in the winter. Due to the potential harsh weather, power outages and internet outages happen from time to time and are out of our control. We do not issue any refunds for loss of power or internet. Please prepare for all types of weather when visiting the mountains. Groceries: Large grocery runs should be done in Bellingham (about 45 min away). There are a handful of small mom and pop grocery stops along Mt Baker Highway and we are happy to make recommendations. Restaurants are extremely limited and are not always open during the slower seasons. Please come prepared with provisions. \*This home is NOT pet friendly. \*Complimentary Pack-n-Play & Highchair available upon request. Accessibility Disclosure This property offers one level living and is handicap friendly, however it is not fully ADA compliant. There are three small steps leading into the home. It is as cute, clean, and fresh as it looks. We were their third group so a few little things were missing like bath soap, paper towels, and basic kitchen items like k-cups, but it did not detract from our lovely time there and owners were receptive to feedback.
