"We enjoyed the location of this home. You are in the woods with lots of walking trails . The house has a nice layout and is nicely furnished. The quaint city of Steenwijk is near. It is close to Giethoorn, and many other neat towns. It is close to the highway , that can take you to bigger cities fast such as Zwolle."

"Zunächst einmal zur Umgebung: Das Haus und die ganze Hotelanlage liegt quasi mitten im Wald. Die Nachbarhäuser sind weit genug entfernt, sodass man seine Ruhe haben kann. Vor dem Haus gibt es eine große Wiese, wo man mit Kindern/Freunden/Hund verschiedenen Aktivitäten nachgehen kann. Die Wiese ist richtig groß und wird auch von anderen Anwesenden rege genutzt. Das Haus selbst ist bereits in die Jahre gekommen. Die Ausstattung ist ok, aber eben schon lange nicht mehr neu und teilweise müsste...

It was not very clear what would be provided in terms of 'linens'; not towels included (or toilet paper) so we had to scramble the next day to get a few towels to use. Of course the response of the property manager: you can get them for a fee. Having traveled from the US we did not realize we had to bring so much of our own; for example 'linens' typically includes towels. After we checked in we decided to have dinner...
