The staff are friendly and helpful. The facilities are a bit old, but I stayed in a one-bedroom apartment that was spacious and convenient. It is an older, classic 5 star hotel, so it kind of gives you that traditional, classy vibe. This hotel is near the Dalian mall, and is near the metro station. It is also closeby the Russian area and Zhongshan square. The only issues we had with the hotel is we felt the room, while very clean, was a bit old. The keycard failed three times. This is a great hotel in a great area. Labor Park is across the street, it's very nice. There's plenty of shopping in the area. They keep everything very clean. The staff is excellent and friendly. A shout out to the assistant manager, Alex. He was very helpful in resolving a billing issue from the travel site. The breakfast buffet has a wide selection of foods and the coffee was excellent. I was expecting what was advertised on this app. In reality there is no bar - its a cafe where with some lengthy effort you can get a beer. The sauna was 'being repaired' OK, but how about the opening the steam room ? this was being used for drying workers clothes. Breakfast was good but no cutlery, I had to ask several staff before they could find some. Typical of inattentive staff. Overall, I felt it wasn't as good as it should be .
