The back bedroom and living room had bugs in it and my kids wouldn’t sleep in the room so they slept in front bedroom downstairs. Also finger print marks were on the doors. In the master bedroom only one light bulb worked above the sink out of 4\. The TV remote for the cable did not work in master bedroom so we had no TV, back upstairs bedroom had no cable box… and no batteries in remote. The hood above oven was loose and hanging down 1/2 inch. The walk down to the dock needs to be cleared so there are not so many rocks as my daughter fell. ##### Traci A. There are several sitting areas which is nice to be able to do puzzles or games. Beds were very comfortable and kitchen is well stocked. The path to the lake is very steep, tough for older people as it is slippery with sand, pebbles and leaves. It would be nice if the garage door opened so we could bring in groceries through the garage instead of down the path and up through the living room. The dock is large with a few chairs- the only shade is on the lower portion- we never used the top as it was too hot. Overall we had a great time- a pleasant stay. ##### Kate S. We were in town for a soccer showcase tournament and really were there to put our heads to bed. The neighborhood is quiet and nice. Location-wise, this was perfect and only 20 minutes to the fields we were playing on. Whoever rented previously left dishes in the washer and never ran it, so they were disgusting, but not a reflection of the owner. Sometimes people just forget to press wash. The railing on the back deck is quite loose and I would not trust it if you had little ones running around but this was not an issue for us with older kids plus it is winter, and weather was too cold to be outside enjoying the lake. ##### Tricia M. There are a few things that a renter prefers, the property is as posted, and clean. This property actually better than the photos in the post, it is clean, a great view, nicely decorated, the post said you may see Deer, and there was Deer, We go to Ga. quite often and depending on availability would DEFINITELY stay here again, some of the requests were to remove the sheet's and put them in the Laundry room, some people may have a problem with that, I do not, it tells me the owner cares about cleanliness, It was a very nice stay. ##### Howard F. Family stayed together due to a medical emergency with a family member in the hospital nearby. The property is about 15-20 minutes from grocery and restaurants but worth it for the excellent lake location. We enjoyed seeing many deer and wild life from the sun room facing the lake. All around, a very nice property. Our host, Robin, was very responsive and welcoming. ##### Gabrielle M. The house was plenty spacious for our two families (4 adults, 2 teens), and we loved the dock area, although the path was steep and could have been better lit (only one working bulb). The dock was great for the boat we rented, but could use some overall TLC. One step on the stairs was about to crack, and I did tell the homeowner about it since it was a safety concern. The dock could have also used some cushions for the outdoor furniture (sofa) and a shade umbrella would have been great (it had an umbrella stand). The swing was nice. We weren’t thrilled about the 5pm check in rule- 3pm would have been so much better so we could have enjoyed the lake on day one. Also the house’s septic system service was scheduled during our visit which made for a very stinky environment when we were getting our exercise outside. The septic service truck also blocked us from leaving the driveway for over an hour. We were told about the septic servicing the evening before, but were led to believe it would be a quick process. Other than those couple of things we had a great time at this lakefront property! ##### Diane S. The owner was delightful and the house a dream with plenty of room for all! We had other family join us for the day for a small family reunion and had a blast on the lake, lazing on tubes and rafts and a boat ride. We would definitely book this place again! ##### Karen S.
