The drink and food you left for us two-legged folk were most welcome.Loved the comfortable lounge and conservatory with the homely Christmas tree. The views of the Cumbrian landscape and sheep were magnificent.The kitchen was spacious with everything we needed and we had great sleeps in your comfortable beds. The bath was so comfy with plenty of hot water. It was lovely to meet you and thank you for checking we had everything we needed and thank you for the logs. The wood burner made the lounge even more cosy.Hope to return soon."

"We stayed at the Kings Head last weekend and had a lovely time. The pub itself is gorgeous, decorated beautifully, it is cosy and inviting and located in a lovely spot by the stream.Although the actual car park itself was small this was no problem as we parked literally a couple of minutes away on the lane, perfect as it allowed the opportunity to see a tiny red squirrel busy in a nearby tree. The bar was great and the rooms furnished beautifully with lots of lovely little touches to make your stay a tad more comfortable. From coffee,biscuits and tea,to shower caps, cotton buds and earplugs. The food was delicious and the hearty , ample full english next day was gorgeous. The resident dogs were delightful and every person working we encountered could not have been more friendly and accomodating."
