Rustic Elegance Lodge - Picturesque 6 bedroom cabin, Hot Tub, Pool Table
10/10 Excellent
"The kitchen exceeded expectations in size and how well stocked. Travis, the owner, was super accessible and helpful."
"We had a great relaxing getaway at this very secluded and peaceful cabin. Our only minor complaints are that the trees need trimmed back to give you an amazing view of the lake. Right now you can barely see it. Also the long 5 mile gravel road to get to the cabin is a pain but can not be helped. It is worth the aggravation. We will stay here again"
"I rented this property by myself as a three night getaway. The house was as described EXCEPT that it was in a flood plane. My first night there was a heavy down port, which caused a 3 foot pool of water to form at the base of the driveway. I had to be evacuated from the premises by DNR and my car had to be left behind. It is now one week later, and the water has not received at all. DNR is estimating that it will be another three weeks before the water goes down low enough for me to get my car out! I completely understand that the weather is beyond a rental companies control, but there should be some warning of the possibility of flooding. Because of this I will be out of the use of a car for over a month!"
"We booked this cabin for our 50th anniversary celebration with our children & grandkids. The cabin is absolutely beautiful, as is the setting. Nice drive into Nashville & Brown County State Park. My husband is a paraplegic in a big power wheelchair. Main floor of cabin served his needs well, although the bed in the master was very high and a bit difficult to transfer him. Highly recommend this cabin. Hope to return!"
Tranquil lake cabin with deck & Lake Monroe views in Brown County
10/10 Excellent
"Very nice property on the Lake (down the hill) in a remote part of Brown County only fifteen minutes from the TC Steele historical site. Very quiet and lots of birds to watch or listen to. Stayed during hot week and cabin was very comfortable. Practical kitchen, dining and living areas. Porch (covered and uncovered) would be great during other times of the year. "
"Wonderful location. The loft cabin lake house was well supplied including pots and pans and I ended up overpacking after reading previous reviews. Charcoal grill was small but considering it’s not meant for a huge crowd anyways I was able to make a nice meal for family of 4. The hot tub was clean and worked well. The location was 15 minutes down a winding gravel road I was not aware of that. Very peaceful beautiful place to relax and not too far from small town shops. "
"This was the perfect getaway! The road leading up to the driveway gave us a surprise that made us giggle, its suppppper steep! There was a small plumbing issue when we first arrived and host had to resolved very quickly! Definitely will be back! "
