Summary: Stay at our cozy Top Floor room in the Grand Lodge! This building is just a short walk to the lifts at Crested Butte. Perfect for up to 4 guests, the room features a king bed in separate sleeping area, Pullout couch in living area, full bathroom, and a small kitchenette. Built in 1999, the building has character and shows its age, but still offers many modern comforts and provides an excellent place to crash for a ski trip! There is no longer a front desk at the Grand Lodge but we are readily available to respond to our guests! The Neighborhood: We are a short distance from the town of Crested Butte where Elk Avenue provides a great place to shop, dine, visit historic buildings and art galleries. The area offers outdoor activities in all seasons! It is a great place to enjoy hiking, biking, rafting, skiing, and snowshoeing. The Gunnison-Crested Butte Regional Airport is a 45-minute drive from the Grand Lodge. Landmarks and attractions are easily accessible and the resort is just a 5 min walk away! Getting Around: Most Guests bring their car to get around (we have a free parking lot with EV charging), but there are shuttles to get around if you'd prefer! Other Things to Note: license number 306582 This property is NOT pet friendly. This property does not have air conditioning. Please note: we do not do daily linen service like a traditional hotel (this is Airbnb style). However, if you'd like a turnover to be done during your stay, please give us a 24 notice so we can coordinate with the cleaner. There is an extra cost for this, which is $100\. \-This unit is not pet friendly. Only floors 1 and 2 are pet friendly. This unit is on the 5th floor. One major drawback: If you plan on sleeping, bring earplugs. There is an exhaust fan in the bathroom that runs continuously (no switch to turn off) and it creates an oscillating whining noise. It's loud enough to be an alarm clock. If I had not gone to Ace Hardware and bought earplugs, there is no way I could have gotten any sleep there. Great spot to go skiing. It was nice to have a short walk to the mountain. The pool and hot tub were amazing. Defiantly recommend this place. Cooking is tough with no oven and 1 stove top but east to work around. Well worth it for the location. ##### Todd R. The room was spacious and the kitchenette was well stocked and very accessible. There are not a lot of dining options within walking distance of the property so you need to be thoughtful about dinner planning. We would definitely stay here again. ##### Bob B.
