We loved its location, which was surrounded by beautiful mountains (which at sunrise turns a beautiful pink) and very quiet and peaceful, but a short and easy drive into Crested Butte. The house was beautiful inside as well and well stocked. Crested Butte is a cute, fun town to visit with good restaurants and lots of good hiking trails nearby. Our favorite hiking trail was the Upper Lower Trail, just outside of town. We also loved driving over Kepler Pass and hiking at Lake Irwin to see the wildflowers. The wives came for the Fall foliage and we came for fishing. No one left disappointed. The location is fantastic for whatever you are there to do. The house was very nice with a great view. They could use some new pans in the kitchen but that is about the only thing I would ask for. We had a great experience and will certainly look at this property again for next year’s trip. ##### Daniel F. The interior of the home is spacious and clean. The kitchen was well-equipped (wine glasses for days) and all the appliances operated well. The only minor issue we had was the sound of the heating system cycling on and off throughout the night. It was just loud enough that we found it disrupted our sleep in the primary bedroom (but is not able to be heard anywhere else in the house). Overall, a very good home, that would be great for a family or two couples to share. ##### Janet M. It's spacious, peaceful and comfortable, and the mountain view from the living room windows is magnificent. My daughter and I really enjoyed our six-day stay, and we hope to come back again sometime soon. ##### Les N. Beautiful and spacious home with views of the mountains on all sides. I would highly recommend this home to anyone looking to stay in Crested Butte for a weekend.
