Perfect for up to 2 guests, the room features a king bed, couch, full bathroom, and a small kitchenette. Built in 1999, the building has character and shows its age, but still offers many modern comforts and provides an excellent place to crash for a ski trip! The Neighborhood: We are a short distance from the town of Crested Butte where Elk Avenue provides a great place to shop, dine, visit historic buildings and art galleries. The area offers outdoor activities in all seasons! It is a great place to enjoy hiking, biking, rafting, skiing, and snowshoeing. The Gunnison-Crested Butte Regional Airport is a 45-minute drive from the Grand Lodge. Landmarks and attractions are easily accessible and the resort is just a 5 min walk away! Getting Around: Most Guests bring their car to get around (we have a free parking lot with EV charging), but there are shuttles to get around if you'd prefer! Reading reviews of other rooms in this building made me hesitant, but this 2nd floor room was so perfect!! It was quiet, very clean, check in was a breeze (they just hand you your room key like a hotel), and the view was good too!
