« We loved renting this property! It was located right on a loch with many different species of birds to view and tides to watch. Unfortunately no otter sighting this time! The house was very cozy and clean-just right for two people. It was conveniently located to explore Berneray, North Uist, Benbecula, South Uist, and Eriskay. « Best family holiday for years. Nice touches here and there. If you arrived with nothing in the middle of the night you’d cope what with the spare/extra food and household essentials. Great to not have to be concerned about bedding or towels. Sorry we ended up with 3 towels in our laundry. Will launder and return. The views are amazing. The loch warm enough to swim in. And fish. Don’t know about the rules of the latter but we caught nothing anyway. The beaches are somewhat amazing- even though...

« The Property was simple to find. Cottage was in a good location for travel around the island, also handy for the shop and petrol pumps. For bird watchers, it is right beside the Machair and we saw loads including the corn crake. The cottage was well equipped, though we had to look for the instructions for the hob. We didn’t use the wood burner but we did use the bench outside to the rear. We would stay here again »
