Bright, neat, clean and cozy
Well thought out, comfy firm clean warm bed. Close to shops and restaurants along the Cow Bay frontage. Nice local seafront walk. Kayak rental just a few steps away. We had a lovely relaxing overfed time. We even popped over to Bright Angel Park for a little swim in the river, and popped into the local Thrift store and found a cute little treasure for a friend who didn’t get to come! Do your research before you come, loosely plan, check when the places you want to visit are closed and then come and enjoy and relax! Maybe visit the Cidery on the way in, buy some to go…

Happy little stay
Great location for mooching in local shops and cafes etc. We loved the outlook over the water and access to the deck (although access was shared with next door and we weren't fully sure if all involved were clear about this). The space is small but pleasant and full of character and we had all we needed. Communication with the manager was great. For us it might have been extra helpful to have found some simple written instructions inside the property with WiFi code and instructions for TV (which took us a while to figure!). Good value. We really enjoyed our stay, many thanks.

pull out inflatable mattress didn't hold air until morning had trouble working the tv - difficulty finding news channels then would turn off before we were finished our unit was not sound proof so heard the midnight party in the adjoining rental

I’m sorry you didn’t enjoy your stay, You didn’t message us about any of these issues or we would have 100% rectified them. We are very responsive & would have helped you. The unit has standard insulation, brand new windows and doors so the sound likely would have travelled through on any building. Again we are sorry you didn’t enjoy your stay wish we had known. The pull out bed has now been replaced with a brand new queen sized queen sized bed as a few guests had trouble with the controls to ensure the inflation was kept.

Wonderful seaside tiny beach house
Clean. Loved relaxing on the deck listening to the water, watching out over the bay. Had a little wrestle with the fold out bed, luckily the owner texted me tips until I had it sorted. Inflatable mattress was fine for one, imagine it would have been uncomfortable if there are two because it had lost its firmness in the morning. All up; great!

The only thing we didn't like was the inflatable air mattress bed. We had a terrible night sleep. It wouldn't stay inflated and it made our whole trip disappointing and frustrating.

The bachelor suite is perfectly suitable for 2 people, Queen sized bed and ample space for lounging. It is small yes but it’s everything you need while exploring Cowichan bay and relaxing by the ocean.
