"Friendly staff, conveniently located near the main road (but not noisy), very comfortable beds, room clean and bathroom modern with good shower. WiFi was free and worked well. Breakfast was a good array of continental breads, cakes, pancakes, yogurts. Cheeses, etc. We had a very comfortable sty and would return happily."

"This hotel has a great location on the lake. You need to get a lake view room for the perfect view. The hotel is picking up on its history with the decor and style. Some features are a bit basic but it’s all about the location"

"Whilst the room was on the compact side, our experience was excellent. The bed was comfortable and it was very quiet despite close proximity to an airport. A minor issue is that there was only a plug on one side of the bed."

"This was a lovely little hotel. The room was clean and comfortable and we had a lovely view from the balcony of our room. Breakfast was good. The hotel doesn't do evening meals but it was only a short walk into Ascain where there were plenty of bars and restaurants. We really enjoyed our stay, would recommend and would return again when in the area"
