Great location. Parking was affordable and right across the street. Quiet location. Comfortable clean nice rooms. Great breakfast. Would definitely stay again!
Travelling from Canada. Clean bright rooms. Amazing breakfast/ coffee options each day. On site laundry available. Central location, easy to get around on foot to explore restaurants, markets. Staff were very friendly & helpful.
Definitely will stay here again on our next visit.
The staff were incredibly warm and helpful. The facilities were immaculate with amenities unexpected (free self laundry, nice workout facility); the breakfast was especially satisfying.. location and walk ability were ideal. I highly recommend this great and affordable option when in Cork.
Very convenient for walking around town. The adjoining sister hotel has a more relaxed and busier vibe with music and more people around, it was nice to hang out there for a drink and play board games. Then we could retreat to our side for the quiet and larger rooms. It was a shame they don’t have on-site parking as the overnight car park fees in the city are outrageous (but convenient and close by).
Loved everything about room and location very clean, toilet a bit noisy probably just a problem in our room but it was a one night stay so tolerable. Would stay again.
Simple property. But everything you need. Perfect location. Small grocery/liquor stores near by. Everything is walkable. Bars and restaurants around the corner. Big clean rooms with a kitchen. I would stay in one of these in every city if the location was good. But highly recommend this hotel
This was a very nice hotel in a decent part of town. Easy to walk to all the main shopping and restaurants. The buffet breakfast was good. Not a huge selection as compared to other places we’ve stayed in Ireland. We stayed here 8 nights. Housekeeping during our stay was average. They never vacuumed or cleaned floors so by the 6 day floors were very dusty and dirty.
The staff ate all friendly and the room was nice and spacious.
The parking lot was extremely difficult to get in and out of. Also the elevator at the parking lot was not working, best not to have a car if you stay at this hotel. Breakfast was good quality but exactly the same every day. Gisele at the front desk was extremely helpful and kind. She is a tremendous asset to this hotel. We stayed 6 nights so we were very happy that there was a laundry room. The one way narrow street in front of the hotel makes checking in & out very uncomfortable. But the rooms are good size.
Very nice hotel in a great location with friendly staff. Our room was large and equipped with a full kitchen which we didn’t expect. The only improvements I’d make would be variety at breakfast - natural yogurt and fruit salad, different hot options and a lit magnifying mirror in the bathroom. The lighting overall is gloomy.
Room was very comfortable with kitchenette and spotless. Front desk staff were lovely and welcoming.

The rooms were really clean and spacious. The breakfast had good variety, with sausage, bacon & scrambled eggs as well as a continental type breakfast as well.
The location was amazing, and the room was very spacious! However, the biggest disappointment was the lack of storage, especially for a longer stay. With only a few hangers, a tiny hanging rack, and two small shelves, we had nowhere to put our clothes, which was frustrating given the size of the room.
The complimentary laundry was wonderful, the gym was great, and the front desk staff were consistently lovely, always greeting us with a smile. We also appreciated the discounted parking across the street.
Unfortunately, breakfast was disappointing as someone with celiac disease. I missed it the first morning because I wasn't aware gluten-free options existed until I asked. While I appreciated the dedicated toast, staff gave conflicting information about what was safe to eat. One day something was safe, the next it wasn't. At one point, I was handed a bowl of chocolate cereal instead of a proper breakfast, which honestly felt embarrassing. Trust me, I don't choose to have celiac disease, and navigating food safely is challenging enough without feeling like an inconvenience. More consistency and understanding would go a long way.
The lobby and bar could also use more atmosphere, even some music. We're in Ireland, after all!
Despite these issues, I would recommend this hotel. The location, staff, and amenities were great. A few thoughtful improvements would make a big difference. Thank you!
