The Cafe was terrific, one of the best eggs Benedict I have ever had. Rooms were very good. Only major complaint is that the temperature kept automatically changing from heating to cooling and I kept waking up at night feeling very cold, this really disturbed my sleep. Only one problem this morning the doors to the elevator area was locked. After two calls to the front desk I learned that maintenance was being done. The doors were not supposed to be locked. It was over one hour before they were unlocked. I even took the stairs first to learn that exiting would set off an alarm. So I went back upstairs. We were virtually locked on the floor for over one hour that I was aware of. Very basic. Poor lighting for makeup etc. We were given what I imagine is one of the worst rooms in the hotel in regards to location. Second floor, out the window was the roof and a wall. So, ambiance there wasn’t the best. They no longer have valet parking. Check-in experience was good. We did call down to ask for some wine glasses to be brought up and it took over a half hour and two calls. Love that we get access to the Bay Club while staying there.
