"Clean room and safe parking"

"The area was not great there was a motel directly behind the property that was so sketchy. I'm glad my son went with me because I had my dog with me and did not like being outside on my own. The room smelled musty and cigarettes. It always felt sticky and humid in the room. The beds sheets had random hairs on them and on the last day when my son grabbed a towel to dry his gace the towel looked gray and appeared to look like it had a greenish stain on it ( use your imagination of what we believe it looked like) neither one of us was willing to smell it. The second day I was there we went to the front desk and the lady who was there said she noticed i had asked that my room not be serviced and then began to tell me I had to because I had a dog. When I told her my dog's not going to have any part of a stranger being in the room she said maybe I should lock my dog in the bathroom, WAIT WHAT!. Then for some reason the maintenance guy had to put his two cents in as if he was part of the conversation. She said ou can't leave your dog by themselves its on the paper you signed, dumbest thing ever i said people can't go every where with their pets. TShe was very rude. This is not a great place to stay. You know the saying you get what you pay for, this is where it came from. Spend a few extra dollars to stay somewhere else, live and learn. I will never stay there again and would not recommend you stay either."

"Our stay at Hampton Inn and Suites was good. While the check-in process was clumsy and protracted because we used a third-party to secure our reservation, the rest of our stay was great. The hotel is centrally located making our drive time from place to place rather short. The room was very spacious and comfortable. The A/C actually had a fan setting of AUTO that actually worked! The bed was comfortable albeit firmer than we have at home. The staff was very accommodating and friendly. The breakfast menu had lots of options from fresh fruit, cereal, waffles, and hot items including scrambled eggs, potatoes, and sausage gravy. The grounds were well maintained and ixora flowers were full and bright. Would enjoy another stay when down in Harlingen."

"Everthing was clean"

"Staff was unhelpful upon arrival. Had to wait for them to come out to desk, they didn’t say a word about breakfast time. Morning staff was friendly."

"Pleasant experience for the price. Normally I don’t care to leave a review but this place was nice for a super 8. Comfortable and clean. Absolutely wonderful experience. Tv could have been updated , tiny little Vizio with hdmi ports not working for my fire stick , and tons of dead pixels but… other than the tv everything was perfect."

"Breakfast was decent. Front desk was kind and helpful. Everything was very clean, and everything in our room worked. The only drawback was that the pool wasn't warm enough to swim in."
