« Freedom Ridge Cabins is the perfect place for a quiet, picturesque getaway. The cabins are individually named and are tiered up the mountain. Each cabin has a parking area, a small back deck with a picnic table, and a fire pit with seating around it, perfect for marshmallow roasting after dark. « This was the perfect place for a 2 day stay while we explored the region. 15-minute drive to Mt Rushmore or Crazy Horse. Hill City was a very nice town for exploring. Great wineries and breweries less than a mile from the property. Hot tub was very relaxing at the end of the day. Had all the extra kitchen accessories you can image. Would definitely stay here again if in the area. »

« We were out and about most of the time, so mostly just sleeping, which was excellent. With 3 bedrooms and a large living room sofabed, there was no shortage of space. Wifi was very nice to have. The marina store below is WAY nicer than I ever imagined. The view and access to the lake was amazing. I dont think there is a better location for this price in the hills. I would definitely stay here again! Only 2 minor dings, low water pressure so showering wasn't great, and extra charge for using...

« Our stay at this property lasted all of about 30 minutes before we tapped out. From the front door, we walked down the steps into a dingy basement hallway with three identical, unmarked doors.
