"Awesome check in experience with Max, but the hotel is undergoing renovations, and the rooms are very dated. The lobby is redone and very nice. I look forward to returning when the renovations are done to see how the rooms are improved. I also had an unexpected “amenity“ charge on my account. I think it’s because they came in when we were away and freshened up our towels."

"Room entrance door had a very strong closer, and did not have a way to hold it open. As this was a handicap room, it made it very difficult to get our luggage and ourselves into the room without being “knocked over” by the door. This could result in a personal injury. "Surprised how large the room was! Beds seemed like a full not a queen, so maybe that was why the room seemed larger? Staff was friendly at check in and during breakfast the next morning. There's a water fountain/ refill station in the gym... So that was weird to have to use my room key to get in there in order to refill my water cup. Only complaint was the sticky floors in the lobby, breakfast area, hall to elevator."
