It was difficult to get a hold of owner to find out what was going on. Basically the apartment was not available to rent but we were charged for it. Some kind of mistake with VRBO or Expedia or the owner or all three but whatever it was is unacceptable. By the time we heard from the owner with some kind of explanation it was after 9 pm on a Saturday. We could not find a hotel anywhere and had to sleep on the floor of someone’s apartment.
