« Absolutely brilliant cottage. All new fixtures and fittings with everything you could need for your stay. The drains smell came and went- not sure where it came from and it didn’t really bother us. Location fantastic for walks along the coast and short drive to other coastal towns. Would recommend »

« The cottage was well equipped and comfortable. Staithes is an interesting village with a welcoming pub with good food, also excellent pizzas at the shop on the corner. Lovely walks along the coast and a trip to nearby Saltburn on Sea made for an excellent weekend break. »

« We enjoyed our stay at this adorable cottage in charming Straithes. Good food within walking distance. We would definitely recommend it to others. Note: There is a steep hill into town and parking only to load and unload your car. Also the cottage is three levels with narrow staircases. Not for the mobility challenged. »

« Lovely accomodation decorated to a high standard. Little personal touches made a huge difference such as the welcome hamper and excellent dog friendly facilities. Very peaceful, not a great deal around (we found 1 shop and a chippy) however so you need to travel if you want to take in the area. Saltburn and Redcar not far away by car, Whitby also nearby and a great day out »

« Good as a base for the surrounding areas. Quirky, could do with a refresh, but otherwise very accommodating host and the pub next door does good food & beers »

« We weren’t expected until the following day. Therefore our apartment was not prepared for us. Heating and fridge hadn’t been turned on. The rooms were dull and disappointing. Although everywhere seemed clean we kept finding used tissues in the bathroom, under the bed and tucked down the sofa. »

« It was ok for a one night stop over, which is fine if that’s all you want. Don’t get me wrong, I couldn’t fault Angie as a host, very approachable. But there is a lack of information about the units that don’t tell you that there is literally just a door between adjoining rooms, and like a previous review noted, very little sound privacy between you and what could be other guests, luckily for us there were no other guests either side of us the night we stayed. »

« Cant not fault the place. Its was clean, easy to gain access with it being unmanned, shops near by for food. Will stay again if in the area. »

« 1. Getting difficult to.find the exact location of property, its helpful if mentioned the building name. 2.Whole night struggled to run the heating but didnt work survived without heating. 3. Wifi id provided not available in the premises. »
