"9 of us rented the place for 3 nights. We play board games and eat good food. The place was a A plenty of room, Host was very nice and communicated very well. Great view and very comfortable. All of us agreed we would love to go back next year. This is are 6th Cabin Con we have done, And this has to be the best place. Jane"

"The property had a sign that said American inn so though were at the wrong place. Maybe just a sign on the front door would have been helpful. Than when we checked out breakfast was supposed to be at 5:30 there was no one at the front desk and nothing set up we waited until 6:00 set the key on the counter and left no one was at the desk. Maybe a note if they had to leave for an emergency or something would have been nice never will stay there again "

"Comfortable and plenty of room. Loved the dining room table and being able to have everyone sit around. Kitchen has everything you need. Hot tub is nice to enjoy. A peaceful and quiet place to sit, relax and enjoy family time."

"The interior is simply beautiful with plank floors and solid wood constructions. And the whole place is so clean. The view out the back is great. It is on a quiet road and feels remote, but it is conveniently close to Black River Falls and Hatfield. I was staying here to work at an event in the area, but I would like to come back just to relax."

"There were several things that I really liked about this rental. First, there was an upstairs and a downstairs bathroom. This was both helpful and essential, especially with young children still learning to potty train. The other thing I really enjoyed was the gas stove with a griddle feature. This allowed me to quickly grill French toast and grilled cheese for a hungry crowd. The gas fire both warmed the room and was a comfort during the cold, stormy weather. Overall, the stay was comfortable. A few areas of improvement would be that the wifi was spotty; however, a hotspot on phones was a quick solution. Walking with a cane, I found the cabin to be a little challenging with steps and a steep drop-off in the backyard. This can be solved by remaining on the back porch, but something to be aware of. So, not the best rental if you are disabled."
