"Rosella did lovely breakfast, its a great location for visiting Locorotondo, Alberobello, Martina Franca, and a hire car makes that easy. The patio is lovely for sunbathing in deck chairs provided, surrounded by beautiful olive groves."

"We really enjoyed our experience here in the "Hobbit House" While small it was generally well appointed, except for the self-catering being restrictive. The service was super friendly, the breakfast was good the hosts generous with their offerings and range of food. Good access to Alberobello and Matera for day visits."

"Property is located out of town, which is very nice if you wish to escape the heavy tourist hustle and bustle of Alberobello for a while. Rural countryside is very pretty."

"Ho soggiornato in una splendida dimora storica recentemente ristrutturata, un vero gioiello che unisce il fascino del passato con il comfort moderno. La camera era spaziosa e arredata con gusto, con dettagli che riflettevano l’eleganza della tradizione locale. Il fiore all'occhiello è stato senza dubbio la Jacuzzi privata, che ha reso il soggiorno ancora più rilassante e speciale. La posizione è ideale, immersa nella tranquillità della campagna pugliese, ma a pochi chilometri dai principali...

"One of the most unforgettable stays I’ve ever had in Italy. We visited well outside the tourist season and were the only guests—yet the owners graciously kept the hotel open just for us and prepared breakfast with such care. The owner and staff are incredibly kind and welcoming, and the property itself, along with its grounds, feels truly magical—peaceful, beautiful, and full of soul. We will absolutely be back in the summer. 100% recommended."

"What an incredible place to stay, Very friendly, clean, private parking, which is often hard to find, and well priced. Great advice for local restaurants nearby.

"Pino and Anna were fantastic hosts with such amazing attentionto detail! Such a beautiful location, easy to access many local towns. The tower was very comforable and had everything you could need for your stay. One of the best places we have stayed. Hope to return! Highly recommend!"

Authentic Apulian Villa – Jacuzzi, Orchard & Walk to Cisternino!
10/10 Excellent
"The photos of Angelita's home and the general information about the very charming and welcoming town of Cisternino do not do justice to this vacation rental! My husband and I and our two friends loved it! Overall, there is a serenity and a sense of place at Casa Cecca that is timeless. The high ceilings and cool tiled floors make it a perfect summertime outdoor/indoor space. The eat in kitchen is compact, yet workable, although a microwave would be a welcome addition to the stove top and toaster oven. There is only one washroom, but it is beautifully remodelled and has a luxurious rainhead shower. During the day and on fine evenings the long wooden table under a pergola in the backyard is perfect for apero and alfresco meals. There are plenty of chairs and loungers! The jacuzzi was not much in use as our mid to late September days were cooler and we were routinely touring all the notable "white cities" as well as nearby beach and historic towns. We travelled to Ostuni, Alborobella, Locotorondo, Bari, Porto Caesarea, Polignano a Mare, Monopoli, Lecce, and Matera. Phenomenal day trips, great food, and history lessons, galore! Staying in the area of those special structures, the Trulli, was a daily delight!Angelita was a very caring and responsive host, and always addressed any concerns or requests that we expressed. Overall, we had great Apulian wine and food experiences, met lovely locals, and enjoyed being a short uphill walk from our comfortable home to Cisternino."
"Very characterful property set in quiet countryside. The approach to the property was quite difficult along an unlit, quite uneven narrow track. We arrived in darkness and almost crashed our hire car into the stone walls bounding the track. We did venture. Out each day but even in daylight we had drive extremely cautiously to navigate our way to the main roads. The outside space ,particularly the seating areas and barbecue area were very good so we cooked and ate in each evening. The pool was small but served it’s purpose to cool off during sunbathing."
Borgo S.Clara by Wonderful Italy - Appartamento Gemimma

"Property is lovely with a lot of character. Communication whilst on site was average/poor. Did not respond to questions appropriately or in a timely fashion. Overall a great stay."

4 Bedroom 3 Shower room House in 2 acres with POOL- ideal 2 families
10/10 Excellent
"10/10. Beautiful property, perfectly presented - we cooked outdoors in the exterior kitchen and ate by gorgeous pool. Pietro was fantastic, gave us loads of local recommendations and was available for any questions. The location of Stewart’s house is great- in a quiet olive grove but minutes from Cisternino which is lovely and full of excellent places to eat. Plus 39 mins drive to Adriatic coast which is unspoiled - not a high rise or package hotel in sight. An hour or so the other way is the Ionian coast, also lovely. One word of warning, the entrance to the lane is quite tight so a small car is easiest - but we managed with the huge SUV the rental firm gave us and the water truck driver manages fine! Air conditioning would be nice in the bedrooms for the August heat but plenty of fans were provided. All in all - we loved the place and would recommend both the house and this beautiful corner of Puglia"
