Charming & Quaint with the Sweetest Hosts

We had such a magical time staying at this charming Airbnb. Very cute and quaint and everything that that you need. All updated anmen and super happy with the service. Serge and Audrey are the hosts that live on site and are there to help help you in any which way possible. The included breakfast was absolutely delicious and such OK a pleasure to wake up to every morning. Would highly recommend it. You do definitely need a car because it is far, but it is super convenient if you are around the area. We also had excellent choices of restaurants that we were referred to, and overall absolutely loved our experience.

Delighful Bed & Breakfast Guest House!

The 'La Petite Salamandre' guest house in the countryside is an absolutely delightful place to stay, surrounded by so many castles to visit in the area! The rooms are very clean and well-maintained, and an excellent daily buffet breakfast (featuring bread, pastries, homemade yogurt, tea, coffee, hot chocolate, juice, seasonal fruit, butter, jams, and sandwich meats) is included in the reasonable room cost. The hosts, Serge and Audrey, are very friendly and went out of their way to assist in any way they could to make my stay pleasant. The setting in the countryside is pleasant and relaxing, away from the hustle and bustle of city life. Shower liquid soap, towels, and blankets are provided free of charge. There were three 220-voltage outlets in my room and one in the bathroom. That said, a car is needed to get there and to get around. TV or telephone were not available in the rooms at the time of my stay. Internet is included in the room price. A laptop can be used to watch Netflix or other programs you are already subscribed to. The hosts speak mostly French. I suggest using a translation app for translations into French.

La chambre correspond en tous points à la description. La literie est confortable. Le petit déjeuner est bien supérieur à ce qu'on trouve dans des établissements de haut de gamme. La location est position centrale pour visiter les chateaux aux alentours. Excellent rapport qualité/prix. Excellente communication avec la propriétaire.

Appartamenti piccoli ma puliti e soprattutto in posizione molto comoda per visitare i castelli della Loira: a noi interessavano Chambord e Chenonceau e la struttura era quasi esattamente a metà strada, quindi non potevamo chiedere di meglio. Abbiamo poi apprezzato le proposte per la colazione (inclusa nel prezzo), la comunicazione con Audrey e la disponibilità per il check in. Prenderemmo sicuramente di nuovo in considerazione La Petite Salamandre qualora volessimo tornare a visitare la regione.

Jolie chambre indépendante. La literie est très confortable. Audrey nous a équipé d'un ventilateur pour les fortes chaleurs. La salle de petit déjeuné est tout à côté et bien équipée. Ce dernier est bien garni et beaucoup préparé maison. Audrey est très gentille, notre fils a pu jouer dans le jardin avec son fils. Il y a suffisamment d'espace pour se garer.

Excellent séjour dans une région qui nous a pleinement satisfait. Les conseils de notre hôtesse ont été particulièrement avisés notamment pour les restaurants. Tout était parfait notamment le petit déjeuner copieux. Juste une suggestion : un placard ou une commode serait pratique pour vider les valises durant les longs séjours. Je recommande cet établissement.

Sur notre route vers Beauval

Séjour convenable. Ma note globale reflète d'abord la sympathie de nos hotes. Leur sens de l'accueil est irréprochable. Points positifs : propreté, cafetière/bouilloire, chauffage d'appoint et literie ok (bien que de taille moyenne :1m80). Points négatifs : lampe de chevet qui s'allume tt seule en pleine nuit, la pression de la douche est moyenne et le petit-dej, bien que copieux, manque de pains variés, de fruits frais, de fromage. Enfin, c'est a 40mns du zoo, donc trop loin. Localisation plus adaptée pour visites chateaux.
