Darling Country Charmer
It was exactly as advertised on VRBO. Extremely well equipped kitchen, bathrooms & bedrooms. Had everything we needed. Close to Garrison that has lots of stores and restaurants. Close to Vedder River trail and the Blue Heron Reserve, beautiful area to walk in. Will definitely stay here again.

Our Canada trip
Loved the place it was a great location for us. All the things we needed were provided, it was clean and and very comfortable. Would definitely stay again. For us being from Texas we loved being able to sleep with the windows open.

Home away from home
Perfect for our stay during the 2023 BC Senior Games. Convenient, quiet and enjoyable Just a heads up tho. The Keurig does not work properly, we had brought our own machine anyways so just used ours!

We had a great stay
If comfortable, well outfitted accommodation in a bucolic setting is what you're looking for then you need look no further. The unit is spacious, new, clean, had everything that we needed, and we had a wonderful stay. The hosts were gracious and welcoming but otherwise left us alone. Chilliwack is a farming community and though well spread out everything we wanted was easy to access from the location. We were meeting family at nearby Cultis lake provincial park but didn't want to camp this trip. This property was perfect for our purposes. Thank you Terri and Larry for a great stay.

Excellent Experience!
We stayed with Terri and Larry for 4 days in their perfect guesthouse. Our kids had such an amazing time wandering around the farm, getting to learn about and ride a horse. Terri is an excellent teacher and clearly has a lot of experience with children. The property is located about 15 minutes from Cultas Lake, is very clean, cupboards and shelves well stocked with towels, condiments, dishes etc .. Our kids are already asking when we can go back. We only left 5 hours ago LOL!!! We will definitely return and highly recommend!

Chilliwack/Cultus weekend
The cottage is so comfortable, clean, and newly renovated. Terri thought of everything. The kitchen was complete and well stocked. There were nice fluffy towels for us to borrow, including beach towels. The location was very convenient. Only 15 minutes to the Cultus Waterpark and Adventure Park. For a fee, the kids and I got to experience horseback riding. It was a great place to relax after a long and tiring day!

Perfect country hobby farm
This was a great place for our week visit with our granddaughters. (3&7). Extremely well appointed. It was really quite hot and hard to get the king bedroom cool. Safety features stated “fenced pool” but we could neither see nor use the pool. Barn was fun for the girls to visit and they were welcome there with adult supervision of course. Would certainly return another time.

Great place at the end of the day!
Four adults in the area to hit the lake and do some bike rides. Great place to do all. If you are looking for sparkling clean, modern it's maybe not for you because it is on a horse farm but that is why we loved it. Watched the horses from the windows!

What a special place!
I can't say enough good things about this property. Terry was amazing, communication was excellent and the property was just as described. My wife and I needed some place to stay for five days and this VRBO was perfect. Located on a horse farm (I guess that's what you call it) with outstanding views of the local mountains. Nice sitting patio and all the amenities you could possibly want. Well stocked with all the necessities. This place was awesome. We came in late from Texas and easy access and we just threw our stuff down and went to bed. I kinda want to come back here from Texas just to stay at this property again.

Farm Fun
Had a great time at the farm. We visited during the heat wave which made sleeping a little tricky. The kids enjoyed the animals and we enjoyed relaxing on the deck.

A true treat
We absolutely loved our stay at this home. It was spacious, comfortable, clean, and even stocked with spices! We loved seeing the horses and enjoying the farm life, if only for 3 days and without any actual farm labor. Chilliwack is full of opportunities for exploring in nature and the convenience of urbanization is only a short 15 minute drive away. We only heard the train once so please don't let that deter you from such a quaint experience. Thank you, Terri! We hope to visit again someday.

Great little vacation property
Cute little property. Has everything you would need for your stay. Enjoyed sitting on the deck watching the horses. Quick drive to Cultus Lake. Was a fantastic place for our family to relax and recharge.

Comfortable and cozy with everything you would need in the kitchen. The place had many homey touches which added to the charm. Having the bedrooms in different areas of the home was great as my friend and I had our own space (bedroom and washroom) but still had the kitchen/dinning room for relaxing and visiting. One thing to note is that there are a few small stairs so those with mobility issues may have problems. Front row seat to the horses which was great and as noted in a few other reviews about 10-15 minutes into town for restaurants/groceries.

Wonderful Staycation
Great place to stay! The host is super responsive and very friendly. The place is fully equipped with everything you need. It's 10-15min drive to Cultus Lake, 5-10min walk to the vedder river trail. You can hear the last train at 9:30-10pmish. There is an a/c in livingroom, but I found leaving the windows slightly open helped keep the place cooler.

Great 3 night stay
It was a relaxing stay. The property was exactly as described, although the proximity to a horse barn was a surprise. It was an unexpected treat to have coffee pods for the Keurig supplied.

Spacious accommodation for us three adults ranging from 33 to 75 years of age. Found it central for our outings by car - trails not tested as mobility problems. Trains occasionally passed by usually after10pm so light sleepers may be affected.

I so much enjoyed sitting and looking out the windows at the ranch life. The horses were beautiful and well cared for. The birds were singing and after the first night I didn't even hear the train. Thanks for the stay.

For nature and animal lovers!
This location is surrounded by mountains, horses practically right outside your window and lots of lovely places to walk close by (a heron reserve just a few minutes down the road). It's also incredibly convenient for restaurants and shopping. Terri was great to communicate with and my kid went out horseback riding with her and had such a blast. It was a great family vacay!

There was an issue with the water being frozen but Terri was very helpful in getting us set up with a hot water dispenser and extra water jugs and allowing us to use her home for showers. The cabin was very roomy and cozy at the same time.

We stayed for 3 nights over Christmas - it was cozy and comfortable (during a cold snap). The kitchen was well equipped and Terri helped us understand what was available before we arrived. The furnace was a little noisy at night, consider bringing ear plugs during winter if you a light sleeper, or use the bedroom that is further away from it. We enjoyed walks along the river and at Cultus Lake, and discovered some great cafes/restaurants in the area (Amble, Curly Kale and Little Beetle). Overall we enjoyed our stay, and it was great value.
