"House is decorated very much like it might have been in the 1700s. Except there are TVs Furniture is meticulously refurbished. Lighting is gorgeous. Location could not be better. If you are considering this beautiful for a weekend be advised some of the rooms have a shared bath. Wouldn’t hurt to call and inquire. I loved being walking distance to downtown. We tried several of the local eateries. It was a delightful stay."

"We were coming from Canada and the front desk clerk would not give us our reserved room because our passports did not contain visa stamps. The clerk would not accept that Canadians travel visa free to the US. When we asked for the written policy he said it’s on the website. When we saw that it isn’t he said it was given to him verbally by management. Looks like he was making it up as he went. After 15 minutes of arguing, the riled up clerk finally checked us in. "

"This was a great place to stay. The amenities were excellent and clean. Didn't do the game room, but it looked nice and the gym and pool were clean and quiet. The staff was very nice throughout our stay. Our room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was good, the attendants had the area clean and the food was good. Would absolutely stay here again. "
