Grosvenor Pulford Hotel & Spa

Grosvenor Pulford Hotel & Spa

8/10 Good
"The carpark was very busy over the weekend and, after a long day out, we were forced to park as far away from the hotel as was possible. Weddings and the attraction of the spa probably accounted for this. The food was more than average except for the breakfast which was excellent. The staff, to my knowledge without exception, were very welcoming and noticeably hard working. The room was slightly more spacious than average with spotless facilities and a comfy bed (single). So, for the most part this was a great place to say for four nights. However, if you're averse to dogs, despite those we encountered being well behaved and quiet, this wouldn't be the best place for you."

"Old pub with rooms. Good history. Decent bar which was popular with locals. I stayed in room 2. Rooms 2-6 were quieter than the others (bar noise). Near the centre of town, great for strolling out to restaurants and other bars."

Crabwall Manor Hotel & Spa

Crabwall Manor Hotel & Spa

8/10 Good
"The staff were excellent in every department, reception, spa, restaurant. The room was beautiful and clean, huge bed, toiletries, hot showers, and quiet. the grounds were also beautifully kept. The only couple of things that let it down, was the state of the bedroom door which could really do with replacing as the door handle is ready to fall off and the two bathroom hooks also need replacing"

"Breakfast area in very modern idiom with long shared or low tables. Can get busy. Parking limited at property- would go by train again as parking Chester expensive"

The Queen at Chester Hotel - Handwritten Collection

10/10 Excellent
"The room was spacious and spotless with a really comfy bed. Check in staff were friendly and pleasant. The only minor downside was the corridors weren't cleared of plates and glasses from room service in other rooms, the same mess was there our entire stay."
