"Very nice hotel right next to the city ramparts. Hotel parking was full but there is plenty public parking next to it. Front desk staff is very helpful. Rooms are small which is standard and for the price it was a good value overall. There is a great large restaurant within a 5 minute walk, Garum, reservation recommended."

This is a new hotel and it shows. They have wonderful friendly staff at all levels. Good size comfortable rooms, secure parking. The only downside if you stay for more than a few nights and eat in the restaurant is that the menu is a bit limited, especially if a non-meat eater but the food is good. Would definately recommend and would stay again if in the area.

Julie and her father could not have been more accomodating nor more pleasant. Their staff followed their example providing friendly, entusiastic and efficient service.

The village is small and easily explored on foot, with its mediaeval architecture and cobbled streets providing a picturesque backdrop. It's a wonderful choice for couples who appreciate history and a relaxed pace.
Couples looking for a more secluded experience, perhaps with a vineyard view, might prefer an accommodation just outside the village. These options often provide more space, privacy, and direct access to the beautiful Burgundian countryside, great for leisurely walks or cycling.

These months offer pleasant weather, ideal for exploring the region's vineyards and historic sites without the peak summer crowds. You'll find the countryside is at its most picturesque, whether with the fresh greens of spring or the rich colours of the autumn harvest.
For travellers interested in wine, September and October are particularly rewarding as they coincide with the grape harvest. Many local wineries offer special tours and tastings during this period, providing a deeper insight into the winemaking process. It's a fantastic time for couples to enjoy romantic vineyard strolls and savour the local produce.
Late spring is great for those who prefer slightly milder temperatures and fewer visitors. The gardens are in full bloom, and the longer daylight hours allow for extended exploration of the mediaeval village and its surroundings.
