Simply respect your neighbors, keep the noise down and no parties. Welcome to this 2 Bedrooms/1 Bath cozy corner cottage located across the street from the public beach access. This home is located at the end of 2nd block and is within walking distance to downtown Folly. The Corner Cottage features two bedrooms with a full bathroom between them, a full kitchen (less a dishwasher), a well-appointed living room, and new flooring and paint throughout the home (2020). It is perfect for a small family or a getaway for two couples. Additionally, this property has reserved parking in the both the front and back sides of the corner lot. Need more space for your friends and/or family to join you, look into renting the unit next-door as well. Folly Beach, or as locals refer to it, The Edge of America, is a laid-back, golf-cart-friendly community with many great restaurants, a booming nightlife, plenty of shopping, water activities, and water tours. For more historic exploring, the famous Downtown Charleston is only a 25 - minute car ride, which offers endless fine dining, shopping, historical sites, and more. There is something for everyone here. We promise you will Folly in love with this beautiful island! The Space Bedroom 1: Queen Bedroom 2: Queen Living Room: 55" Flat Screen Smart TV Bathroom: Tub/Shower Combo Approximate Sq. Footage: 600 Notes You must be at least 25 Years old to rent this home. Contactless Check-In: This home offers a keyless entry system, and we will provide the code before your arrival date. There is parking for 2 cars. We do not provide beach equipment, but anything available at the property is yours to use. Check-in time: 4 pm. Check-out time: 10 am. The Folly Beach noise ordinance is from 10 pm to 8 am. Pets considered. All pets must be approved by our office before you arrive. Upon approval there is a $150 plus tax per pet nonrefundable pet fee that is due before you arrive. If not already on your reservation, it will be added. Once this is done and the fee paid, you will be all set to bring your pet with you (1 pet max, no more than 40 lbs. each, no puppies under 1 year old, no cats). Emotional support animals, comfort animals, and therapy dogs are not service animals under Title II and Title III of the ADA and are subject to approval and fees prior to arrival. No smoking is allowed in or outside of the house. House parties, weddings, functions, events, bands, DJs, etc., are prohibited. The occupancy can be at most 4 people at any time during your stay. We require 50% payment at the time of booking. The remaining 50% of your balance will be due 30 days before the check-in date, and we will run the card on file. Bookings within 30 days of your arrival date require full payment at the time of booking. 12 miles to Downtown Charleston. 22 miles to Charleston Airport. This property is located near Downtown Folly Beach, close to all of the restaurants and nightlife. Normally quiet hours start at 10pm, but are extended to 11pm on weekends. This will help avoid any violations with the FB police that can result in fines and revoke the homeowner's business license. Super close to the beach and just a couple blocks from Centre Street — and quiet too. The big grill on the back deck is also a great touch. The house is very clean. We were a 3 min walk from Center St., which is the main strip for restaurants and shops, and across the street from beach. You can hear the waves crashing on shore at night. Communication with property management was concise, prompt and friendly. Cottage was spacious enough for my son and I, but would not be enough for more than 4 people, otherwise a perfect retreat for our beach wedding weekend! ##### Carey H. And it's only a few blocks from the main drag in town. So the location is perfect! As noted by others, it's quite a small place so if you have 4 people, you'd better be good friends! The living room and front porch furniture/cushions are past their prime And there is no dining seating other than a 2-person high-top table in the kitchen. (So there wasn't the table on the sunporch shown in the photos.) But the kitchen has everything you need and they are generous in supplying soap, toilet paper, paper towels, and bath linens. The beds were comfortable & the linens and towels were nice. The property is very small, no place to put your luggage out & no place to put your clothing (no space for dressers and the closets are tiny with a few hangers). We couldn’t walk around the beds easily. There was no sound on the TV (we tried everything and are versed in electronics). There is NO hair dryer or place to hang wet clothing (good to know beforehand). We loved the location which we see is what everyone says, but the accomodations are just okay…. I would not rent this property again as for the price there are many other options that provide amenities & more comfort. ##### Wanda G. Aug 31, 2023 #### Great location Overall we had a great stay and really enjoyed the convenient location close to restaurants as well as right across the street from the beach. There were a few things we found we missed that made it more difficult to cook full meals in the kitchen, such as scissors, good kitchen/steak knives, tongues for grilling, and potholders, but we got creative and made do with what was available. Also could have used more hangers and shelving in the closets to be able to fully unpack suitcases. The bedrooms don't have enough space to leave suitcases out open anywhere other than the floor right beside the bed, which means you have to step over them to get into the bed. One last thing was the bathtub didn't have a drain stop which was needed for bathing children.
