Pleasantly surprised how comfortable the beds were as most rentals tend to have very uncomfortable beds. The home was exactly as pictured. It was clean and spacious, and the ocean views were incredible. The kitchen, dining room, and living room were perfect for gathering, and the decks were well-appointed with furniture for sitting and enjoying the beautiful view. It was clean, well stocked, beds are comfortable, and the views are wonderful! Its far enough from town so you have the quiet but close enough that you can go and enjoy the bars and shops. And Charleston is only about 30 minutes away if you are interested in sightseeing. The Property manager responded quickly with any questions and check-in was easy! We had a really nice time at Wakita Wave despite clouds/rain! The beach is so close, just steps away, and the ocean views are visible from so many places in the house. The kitchen was very well stocked and everything was clean and tidy. We really appreciated the quick responses from our hosts on troubleshooting some things, too! They were very responsive. Wakita Wave was a great house for our family. Everybody had their own rooms and bathrooms which was so nice! The pool was perfect for the kids while the adults could lounge on the patio furniture. Being able to walk down the stairs to the beach was awesome and the outdoor shower was a great way to get all the sand off before going inside and the kids loved it! The kitchen was well stocked but the pans could use a little updating. Steve and Sara were great at keeping in touch with us before our arrival so we had no trouble getting in the house. We didn’t use any kitchen appliances or cooked at the home as we wanted to try all the different restaurants in Folly. Views, cleanliness and proximity to the beach was our main concern and those were terrific. There was a total of 11 family members and everyone had plenty of room. The house was located right on the beach and was spacious and very comfortable. We loved the open space on the main floor that had the large kitchen, dining area and family room with large TV. 3 levels of decks offered great views of the beach and marsh. The kids enjoyed the game room and the adults appreciated the large comfortable beds and large bathrooms. Property management was very helpful and responsive. Did not like the master bedroom being under the kitchen as walking of early risers was very loud. Would have loved fans on the porches as we were there in 90 degree weather. We had some issues with the AC in two rooms (very hot weather) but management was very responsive and brought portable AC units for two rooms that solved the problem. Well laid out for a large extended family, nice kitchen and a table that easily seated 10\.
