Nestled among the South Carolina barrier islands, Seabrook is a private, gated community committed to the preservation of the natural beauty that is so richly present all over the island. It is home to an abundance of wildlife including deer, foxes, alligators, raccoons, and many other species. The peace and tranquility that exists on Seabrook simply must be experienced to be believed. Ocean Winds and Crooked Oaks golf courses are Audobon certified and skillfully carved into the landscape to maximize the experience of nature during each round of golf. The Tennis Center is nationally acclaimed offering a dynamic tennis experience. Access to other amenities includes a fitness center with sweeping ocean views, an olympic size swimming pool, a driving range, an equestrian center, several restaurants, and of course, the beach. The beach experience at Seabrook is very unique in that it is extremely private. Even in the peak times of summer the beaches are very uncrowded. I was in town for a conference and was surprised at how beautiful the location was! So close to great places like Freshfields and the Salty Dog Cafe, which I highly recommend. Taking a bike around all of the trails was great, as was getting to see the horses hang out near the equestrian center. The unit was clean and all the instructions were on point. Having a washer/dryer when your by the beach is a must and they work great. Had everything I needed. I was traveling on my own and felt very safe. Would definitely stay here again! ##### Madeline L. Previous reviews by many others staying before us were all spot on and accurate in their descriptions. We also had a pleasant stay at this enjoyable property. Everything was working and functioning but just be a little patient with the refrigerators ice maker. Open pool was a bonus this late in season.
