« This is a real gem. It is small but very accomodating. Love seeing the families enjoy themselves and seeing everyone walking their dogs. Very friebdly. Wish it hadn’t rain but our daughter still had a great time at the game room and the free ice cream. Wish the ac worked better in the game room amd bathrooms but they were not terrible so I still give them a good review. We stayed in the apprentice cabin and it was very nice and comfortable-exept the queen bed could have used a spring base...

« We had an enjoyable stay on the houseboat. The bed was comfortable, and the accommodations had everything we needed. We even made spaghetti the first night for dinner since we arrived later than planned. The area is private, we only saw a few people and those we did see gave a friendly hello if they didn't stop to chat with us. For anyone wondering about the movement of the boat, it is very stable. « Get away from the hustle and bustle of Williamsburg and stay here! A very seamless and quick (free) car ferry ride across the James to get to Busch Gardens and Jamestown. This place is great for families. There is even a basketball hoops the kids enjoyed! Lots of space to move and very quiet and serene. We tried 2/3 restaurants in town, both good. Neighbors were friendly and lots of charm. Amanda was fabulous to work with during our stay. »

« Our grandchildren came for several visits and overnights. It was great. The cottage is very user friendly and was quiet. The surrounding areas uncluding paddock was a bonus for our Shetland sheepdogs. The walking trails were fine. We had a fantastic stay. »

« We really liked our apartment. It was clean and comfortable and the location was perfect. There were only 2 issues. The water pressure in the bathroom was extremely low. And the neighbor upstairs was SO loud. They had loud conversations until around 2 AM, heavy footsteps, and an extremely loud TV that stayed on all night until 4 AM. It was almost impossible to sleep. »
