« Nice small place away from the hustle and bustle of town. Fishing in front of the place was great. The kayaks on site were nice and we were able to find a few shark’s teeth on the island across the canal. Close enough to all of the local things we wanted to do. »

« The most charming and cozy cottage right on the river with beautiful sunrises! The host communicated frequently to make sure we had everything we needed. The coffee nook was an added bonus. It was in a perfect spot to travel to Emerald Isle or to enjoy downtown Swansboro. »

« First, I have to say that all communications with Jonathan were excellent. No matter what question I had was immediately answered. The house was as described, very clean and had everything needed for a relaxed stay.Boating, don't expect to bring your own boat as the marsh is very shallow. There is a tandem kayak there but I brought my own kayak with us and it was great, spent a lot of time on the water.Overall it was a great relaxing trip but if you want a busy area with night life this is not...

« Staff communication was fantastic. We arrived late at night and check in was easy. Prime location - we left the vehicle parked and walked to the beach, restaurants, brewery, biergarten, etc. Beach access was close and beach spot was very nice. The entire area was extremely pet friendly which worked out perfect. Most places had water bowls and the Crab’s Claw even had a pet menu. »
